Pledge 5 Foundation now has three thrift store locations, each specializing in different items and with the most reasonable prices in Gainesville for used goods. Thrift 5 Main (2418 N. Main Street in the Winn Dixie Plaza) is a family friendly store selling furniture, children’s toys and clothing, and all other goods needed for your home. Thrift 5 University has more of a “college” sensibility, with vinyl records, clothing for young adults and items that would make your student happy. Finally, we have the Thrift 5 Boutique which has those very special items that are unique, intriguing, and one of a kind. With everything from art objects, to handmade jewelry, to special that special touch to turn your apartment into a show place, the Thrift 5 Boutique has extraordinary items at reasonable prices.
Besides daily stock of name brand clothing, cool home decor, and many other treasures, Thrift 5 has also transformed into a cultural anchor by cultivating awareness of local artist showcases. We provide a variety of ways to be a part of Pledge 5 Foundation through donations and volunteer programs at Thrift 5.
Declutter your home by making a tax-deductible donation to Thrift 5. If you have stuff you don’t want anymore we will certainly take it! From clothing to electronics to furniture we will make sure these items find a new home. Call (352) 538-9645 to arrange a free pick up.
Join a group of dedicated volunteers that help perform day to day operations at Thrift 5. Whether you choose to commit to 5-hours a week or strive to become a volunteer department manager, your efforts will be benefiting an organization responsible for encouraging public service and volunteerism throughout the Gainesville community.
